SmarterMail has a flexible licensing model that allows organizations to purchase a level and edition that best fits their usage requirements now, and to upgrade as more features or mailboxes are required. In addition, each new product purchase includes two email support incidents that are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase at no additional charge.
SmarterMail New License (Monthly Lease)
The Pay-As-You-Go model that allow you to start with a lower cost without the need to purchase the one time perpetual license. Upgrade protection is included Free for life time as long as your subscription is active. Suitable for hosting provider or system integrator that provide SmarterMail as part of the managed services to the customers. Premium add-on such as ActiveSync, Cyren Antispam and Antivirus is available under this licensing scheme.
SmarterMail Upgrade
Customers can upgrade the level or edition of a SmarterMail license at any time. However, license modifications will not extend upgrade protection coverage or reinstate expired coverage.
SmarterMail Software Maintenance & Support (Upgrade Protection Renewal)
SmarterTools customers are provided 12 months of maintenance & support coverage with the purchase of any new product license. You can renew your SmarterMail maintenance & support up to 60 days before the expiry date. Ensuring your SmarterMail license key are always active for upgrade protection allows you to access to all major and minor version upgrades for 12 months from the date of purchase at no additional charge. Plus you save up to 60% for renewing your active upgrade protection before it expired. Renewing an expired upgrade protection SmarterMail license key will cost you to pay up to 75% of a new license key (depending on which mailboxes edition you are running).
We also provide custom quote if you have multiple license keys which you would like to renew the upgrade protection – including both Active and Expired upgrade protection SmarterMail license key. SmarterTools Monthly Lease Important Notes
Leased SmarterTools Licenses billed monthly are non-refundable and CANNOT be downgraded, upgraded, moved to a different server, re-activated, or otherwise replaced once issued. If you wish to do any of these or rename your server, you will need to order a NEW replacement license; and then submit a termination request for the existing license. In so doing, NO REFUND or credit will be issued for any remaining days of current license term.
